Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy

Usage Policy & Copyright

All of the content on the Emma Brown Tweed website (e.g. photographs, copy and graphics) are owned under copyright law by emmabrowntweed.co.uk

Payments

We accept online payment in a secure environment via PayPal. All prices are shown in GB Pounds Sterling.

Product Display

We display all photographs and descriptions to portray products as accurately as possible, although some slight variations can occur. Our size guides are devised to help you choose the garment size which is closest to your needs, some of our products are designed to be worn 'off the hip' and this should be taken into account when placing your order. The way product colours display on your screen may vary depending on your computer screen settings.

Privacy Policy

Emma Brown Tweed endeavours to ensure your personal information and credit card details remain completely private and secure. We comply with the UK Data Protection Act where required and the information that we gather from you when you place an order on our website will only be used to fulfil that order and improve our service to you.

We will occasionally use your information to let you know of brand promotions or emmabrowntweed.co.uk sales unless you request otherwise. You are able to opt out or unsubscribe from our regular emailing at the bottom of any promotional emails we send. We reserve the right to send you critical emails regarding order status which are necessary for the general administration of the site business.

Financial information provided by you in connection with your purchase such as card details used in payments is not stored once the transaction has been completed, and the payment process is handled entirely by Paypal. We will never sell or pass on your e-mail address or any personal details to any third party without your explicit permission or if required to by UK law. We treat customer confidentiality as our upmost priority.

Communication  that includes any communication that you send to us whether that be through the submission form on our website, through email, text, social media messaging, social media posting, tagging or any other communication that you send us. We process this data for the purposes of communicating with you.

Your data  that includes data relating to any purchases of goods and/or services from Emma Brown Tweed ,  such as your name, title, billing address, delivery address email address, your phone number, contact details, purchase details, please note all card details are encrypted by our payment processing platform Stripe and we don’t have access to them. We process this data to supply the goods and/or services you have purchased and to keep records of such transactions. Your address will be destroyed only your name and order will be kept for our records.

The right of access

You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you by emailing us: chris@coregraphicdesign.co.uk.  We will provide this information to you electronically, free of charge, within one month as stipulated by the GDPR. For subsequent requests we may charge a reasonable fee to cover administration costs.

The right to rectification

You may update your website account details held by us, at any time by logging in to your account. If you wish us to update any other record we may hold about you then please contact us on info@emmabrowntweed.co.uk. We will make the required changes within one month.

The right to erasure (The Right to be Forgotten)

You may wish us to remove all information held about your from our systems, you are entitled to do so and may request this by contacting us on info@emmabrowntweed.co.uk. We will respond to your request within one month subject of course to our own limited rights in GDPR to retain and process data to meet our own contractual and statutory obligations.

You may also unsubscribe (opt-out) from receiving our email communications at any time by using the ‘unsubscribe’ link in the footer of these newsletter emails.

The right to restrict processing

You may wish to ask us to store your information but not to contact you. If this is the case you can request it by contacting us on info@emmabrowntweed.co.uk we will respond to your request within one month.

Your right to data portability

There may be an occasion where you require the data we hold about you to be ported to another supplier, this can be done via a CSV file if required, free of charge and will be provided without undue delay but within one month.

Your right to object

You have the right to object to your data being processed for legitimate interests including profiling, direct marketing or for purposes of scientific/historical research and statistics.
